WHERE I COME FROM
I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. I'm a product of the Richardson Independent School District, graduating from Richardson High School. I am a proud Prairie View A&M University Panther.
A THRIVING CAREER
"Education is the master key to the doors of opportunity." I am a career educator. I started my work at PVAMU as a Financial Aid Counselor and quickly worked my way up to Program Coordinator at the University of Houston. I helped create pathways to attain a college-level education more accessible and affordable for families.

In 2012, there was a teacher shortage in Texas. I stepped away from my role in Higher Education to teach STEM in inner-city schools in the largest school district in Texas. Using my experience in Higher Education, I was able to help students prepare for matriculation to college and train STEM educators in delivering high-impact instruction to 21st-century learners.
