By supporting a small business, we’re also supporting our local communities. Investing additional funds from the Federal CARES Act helps to stimulate the local economy and keep business booming within North Texas. These smaller-sized businesses help to create and sustain jobs as well as keep our county vibrant and buzzing with shoppers and tourists.

WHy Are
Congressional Elections
Important?

Congressional elections determine who represents your state in Congress. They also decide which political party—Democratic or Republican—will hold a majority in each chamber of Congress for the next two years.

Congressional elections occur every two years. Voters choose one-third of senators and every member of the House of Representatives. Midterm elections occur halfway between presidential elections. The congressional elections in November 2022 will be "midterms."
